the plow



snow whipped
blown up
into cold white dunes

blade sparks fly
snuffed 
in frenzied drifts 

rumble plowing
all through
the deep night

  1. gotta get those roads clean...they def make a lot of racket all night...ha...seeing those sparks too when the blade catches...very visual piece...and cool

  2. I rather like that comforting hum... a very visual piece but I especially like the way the sounds you use in your poem imitate the drone and swish of the snow plough.

  3. Yes.. when it has been snowing they come and wake me up.. still I always manage to go back to sleep.. there is a comfort in them coming.
