Poems by Brother Ollie: the Tired Monk
"Snap, crackle, pop" used to signify a cereal. Remember?
sigh. the coffee light. what would pavlov think?
Oh, that's me, every morning, eyes half-mast, unwilling to believe I am actually awake. Hee hee.
Wouldn't we all be lost without that magical light? Nice one!
Ah yes, the early morning stare! Everything comes into focus with that first sip.
I don't know what I'd do without my morning coffee.
Quite delightful! A gem of a poem.
Fits my morning cramps to a T.You are too modest. I hope you submit some of these, Ollie.
