Poems by Brother Ollie: the Tired Monk
it is a time of quiet, attention and reflection, isn't it? and what better aroma?xoerin
Lovely. Must go make mine.
What better way to start the day :)
French roast incense.....the best! Love this!
I too love the "French roast incense". There is sometimes nothing quite so stirring of the spirit than an early morning cup of coffee. Almost sacramental :)
What a fragrant scene. One i can go through here each morning in the same ways. ;)
I'd love to be in this monastery for a retreat time, but I'd notdrink the coffee, I only like the aroma
The first line places me in a different time and place and the last brings me back to here and now... Thanks for the micro-journey, Ollie.
Ah, that coffee smell is MY favorite 'incense' for sure!
mmm a little french roast can def a spiritual experience to get those prayers flowing...smiles..
This is a sensory delight:-))
I love the picture you paint, and the economy with which you do so.
Thanks for helping with the development of Olsonomics.
