a good misty morning

flame darts out
sparks
the first
early dawn smoke

slow coffee sip
bitter
black
cheap

settle down into
sagging porch chair
inhale

ponder
morning valley fog

through the mist
burst of warm colour
monk on a mountain bike
waving g'day

cigarette dangles
falls

  2. Lovely. What a wonderful way to start a good misty morning - cheap coffee doesn't matter. Good old tired monk.

  5. I felt like I was sitting right there with you. This was thoughtful and beautiful. We have fog today (a rarity in our area) and I had to go out and spend some time in it, shooting (photos) and just communing with the mystery.

  6. Hi Ollie... Hmm, a smoking monk kind of boggles my mind. A monk on a mountain bike not so much. Smiles.

What an image and then that bitter taste of cheap coffee!!! The sagging porch chair....Seems like a revamp might be needed:)

I have had to replace my previous Blogs with a new one, after finding my poetic content had been hilacked to another hosting site. Not very nice, but I am striving to continue!! http://mypoeticparlance.blogspot.co.uk
