Poems by Brother Ollie: the Tired Monk
Slow dance in a quiet kitchen, am thinking half way through cooking lol
Ollie - love the way this is laid out.the space surrounding 'of love' creates a great pause for the last stanza which is just wonderful.
"slow dance in a quiet kitchen", how quaint and quite romantic..like a spur of the moment decision.
Oh ,that's wonderful ...dancing in the quit kitchen.....
Very romantic! Coindicentally, I slow danced with my wife (sans music) in the kitchen just the other day!
FABULOUS!Simple. Profound. True.
Oh I so love it. The monk and the abbess, dancing in the kitchen. LOVE it!!!!!!!! Sigh. Monk Romance.
Very good Ollie, nice to look at someone special and be reminded of love.
forbidden love?
simple and sweet ;)
What a wonderful image you have created. Simple but so relatable,Elizabeth
I love this; the idea of the ordinary and when magic arrives you partake! Wise Monk ;-D
my reminders are less poetic... we use a dishwasher, and my husband has no rhythm. less poetic, but still sweet.
so simple yet so profound! Loved reading.
Your gentle poems always charm me, Ollie! I love that you still find wonder in the everyday...:)LynetteImagination Lane
absolutely beautiful Ollie!
the best love is cooked in the kitchen x
This tells a story without revealing much at all. It allows the reader to take wonder and take it places with their imagination. Great job.
Such a vivid and romantic picture, elegantly stated. Worthy of a good old fashioned waltz for sure.
oh, love this. you got it goin' on, old ollie. for sure.
Thanks for helping with the development of Olsonomics.
