Poems by Brother Ollie: the Tired Monk
and somedays work is as much devotion as any temple...
Just how Brian said. Good short piece.
ah. and a space so intimate and worn, at times.
amazing emotion and imagery which rises up before me reading your words which are straight forward, achingly expressed...i can feel the drudgery and yet the devotion...great write...
such a lot of emotion expressed so succinctly thank you
i'll be thinking about this one for awhile...
Nice. I can feel the heaviness of daily drudgery behind these words.
I agree with Brian.
All work is honorable I was once told, and perhaps in its purest form devotional as well. I'm always amazed at how much you can say with a perfect sparsity of words.
short and powerful...much emotion packed into these few words and image.
Every space can be a temple. Every space can be defiled. We choose.
Oh so cool to make that connection!
I also agree with Brian.
Perfectly packed with power! Very much enjoyed.
And an interesting photo to consolidate it...
Nice temple....my Beloved Pens have lost....but I am glad that Sid the Kid has a nice break to get ready for next year.....bkm
I dig concentrated poetry like this. Less is more, and this is definitely more. Excellent! :D
so much said in so little words!
Nice. Alot of monks don't realize that the temple is where the shit goes down.
Thanks for helping with the development of Olsonomics.
