ollie, how is it that the potential here for this new story being born (so long ago) infuses hope in me?beautiful.xoerin
Nice short story that sums up the prompt beautifully...
Oh, this is so ingenious, so to the brim filled with meanings.
hehe...ah the backseat carries quite a few memories...
What fun this one is....love your take on the prompt Ollie. Hope you have an awesome Monday! :-)
Wow, this takes me back to The Day!!!! Smell of talcum powder and hair oil on the guys, soap and perfume on the girls - those eyes, those smiles, all brand new and hopeful. Lovely.
How clever ... 'I call shotgun' is a phrase I remember fondly!
nice one... JJRod'z
Short and sweet; a whole tale told.
Amazing how a few words capture a whole story!
Short and sweet. Well done!
Ollie, Ollie. You KNOW that he had no intention of yelling "Shotgun" on this ride!! :) Rick

My 1948 Cadillac convertiblehad leather seat covers, anda back seat that could haveaccommodated Hoss Cartwright.Raised in Seattle, so I kind ofmissed out on the small townLAST PICTURE SHOW kind ofteen years. Great poetics, Ollie.
An absolutely fine, fine read!
Such a nice story described cleverly in few words...I liked it!:)
Right now I doubt young people can do all that cruising. GAS it too expensive!!!
this was warm, human and very inviting...
Fun and innocent but right on.
Nice one! ;-)
Perfect caption for the photo that might very well be the truth of the situation!
