Midnight Kinhin - a Response

in every Kinhin step
stumble roots trip
these sandalled feet

blackberry canes
tear these red robes
this is the work:
this task

the last path twists
past the toppled
chapel benches
into the forest
so dark by lost lake

  2. i'd like to topple a few chapel benches, too... shake 'em up, let it shake me up...

  3. Perhaps our life's journey is the very nature of being tripped up. At least it seems that way sometimes. Perhaps for some, too often.

  4. This is so beautifully descriptive I could see it in my mind's eye. Thanks.

  5. Love the photo, the roots, the stumbling feet, the blackberry vines tearing the red robes....so vivid. Life, one foot after another.

  6. Not sure that I understand "Kinhin" steps. Unknown term to me.
