part of me wants the frost they're calling for tonight because that'll teach the damn mosquitoes to mess with us. but then again, FROST?!? not ready. NOT READY!
oh that is sad for the koi... he is so cute tho...
many would hate me for saying this, but i am looking for three months of the winter because that's the time for me to refrain from going out too much and stay at home... i need to gain weight...
This is SO COOL. As always you have an observation that is utterly original and that one would never think of otherwise. So enjoyable. But....snow NEXT MONTH? Yoiks. That is cruel!
wow the idea in this poem is amazing. when the pond freezes it becomes a glasshouse and this poem is in the fish's point of view. awesome take on the prompt, so different but fresh. :)

Beautiful, I love the angle you took with the prompt. :-)
Old Ollie,
ReplyDeleteA very nice use of the prompt. Seeing the bigger picture, as caught 'through the fish-eye'.....

ReplyDeleteHow sweet and peaceful. What I like the most about your poetry is your calm look over the world around you. I have unsettling eyes.
