Poems by Brother Ollie: the Tired Monk
The tired monk has imparted some great wisdom here! Very nicely done.
Thuds a warning?Awesome details. Great write, per usual.
Keep those demons away. Or invite them in for tea.
Ollie,The tired monk is still in control. The very thump of his staff must be warding off anything that dares to trouble him. ( I hope )Best wishes,EileenGlad to find your words Ollie:)
Thudding in time to life not death... wonderful!
beautiful as always.a unique vision of life which our busy faithless lives rarely encounter or recognize.
There is something infinitely comforting to know that our monk is on duty to ward off night terrors.
A stout staff is all you need, apparently, to make demons flee!Another Whirl with Simon
Keep those demons away...for the rest of us!
Oh I so need a stout staff! Love the word "thud". Makes me think of how they'd say, back in the day, someone was "a dull thud". And now I COMPLETELY understand what that means, as my gray matter ages. Hee hee.
It is very tiring keeping those demons at bay, thankfully some still do it. Thud ...;)
I enjoyed the "Stout staff thud!' and the tight write! Well done.
"stout staff thudswith every step"those demons will not catch you slippin
I like the bit of suspense and mystery your write evokes...and I love the "stout staff thuds"--great imagery.
Great use of redundancy to create suspense!
Thanks for helping with the development of Olsonomics.
