Poems by Brother Ollie: the Tired Monk
Reminds me of the first Kung Fu movie I ever saw: Five Fingers of Death. Would like to see it again for old time sake. Good post.
the master always knows what's going to come from wrath, that's why he will always win. I like these posts. hp
These monks are awesome!
interesting. i used to raise my fists, too.now, just letting go.
Old Ollie,Fighting monks. Whatever next??Superb image of 'fists at dawn'.....Eileen
No wonder the tired monk is tired.....those novices keep him hopping! Loved it, Ollie.
Understanding brings wisdom, then...
Sometimes a good punch is needed. Wisdom lets us accept when its needed by others. So, we embrace the blow in times such as those.
this seems very un-monk-like!
Those 'young-uns have a long way to go to be up to the Old Monk's wisdom. :)
never pictured a monk in a fight before. very imaginative. great use of imagery as well.
Thanks for helping with the development of Olsonomics.
