Red Robes - Red Stratocaster

monastery empty...
quiet, a long hall silence

low amp hum, click of guitar cable plug
e minor waves of rolling thunder
g c d  - power chords

red robes whirl
red strat cranked louder

rock n'roll meditation
a power hymn of sweat

the Tired Monk's mantra:
Keep on Rockin' in the Free World

the Tired Monk

  6. Images of rocker-monks temporarily with reprieve from daily grind swirl. This piece entertains and prompts. Nicely done.

  7. Awesome Ollie! Man I can see it too. Being an old rocker ... or an old lover of rock ... it's all the same, must seem odd to those so much younger. I'll be rockin' in the nursing home.

  8. Hey Ollie, love it! Now I must go and jam and contemplate the rock and the roll. It's weird because I just picked up a black strat at an auction. Must be destiny ;)
