Poems by Brother Ollie: the Tired Monk
Old Ollie,What a clever temple dog. Au fait with the nightly routine, which of course leads to greater comfort and a place of warmth.I am pleased that the tired monk seems to be back into his worldly routine again:)Happy Monday,Eileen
It's a full story...emotions and imagery...awesome work.
smiles..i would rather sleep on the couch as well if i were a dog i guess...he's familiar enough with the routine to take advantage of it...clever dog..
not a bad end of the night....like cutting the lights off...routine...that is the word i was looking for...our cat is sleeping at the foot of our bed now that his sister passed...just to be close maybe...
Very interesting. Different than a lot of what I've read lately. I like it...a nice picture is painted.
And at the end of the day there is blissful rest. Good night to you too!
Sounds like a peaceful night. This poem is peaceful, too.
I loved when my dog laid next to my bed :( nice write.
Routine is one of my favorite things. :) Sounds like a smart dog :)
Hey there! It's been awhile :) Love the poetry you've found in the ordinary here. I need not overlook the everyday for inspiration as I often do. It's everywhere is your eyes are open to it.
...clever... and - yes - clever!smiles...
it is a good night. The predictable events soothe, don't they? lulling us to sleep.
