Poems by Brother Ollie: the Tired Monk
ahh, it's late morning and i still haven't cleared it out yet. more coffee please!
Yes, mornings are foggier these days. But at my age, the fog never totally lifts....yoiks! And gathering for the day takes me till noon!
smiles..you paint a vivid picture with your words...coffee please...smiles
I wish my morning was like this but I jump out right to breakfast and driving out ~
shaking that head out...great way to start the day, with a blank slate...and not letting yourself just fall into that routine...
Now, where's the coffee?
'gathering for the day"... yes, a good way to begin.
Routine switches. Loved it. Light switches or hickory ones?
i love the gentle simplicity that speaks volumes in just a few words.
Simplicity at it's best!
LOL I like this :) Great write!
i can smell the coffee and toast.perhaps a dog is watching.
This poem is very visually appealing. I like how the shape of it correlates with the message.
I like this, has a great haiku feel about it that goes with the monk
Makes me thankful that I don't have to talk much in the mornings. Well, at least not before coffee!
Lovely thoughtful words.I have to shake my foggy head too.Anna :o]
Gathering for the day. A perfect line for that universal moment. Thank you.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog!I love the poem - it paints such a vivid picture.
An ode to the start of the day. Great work sir.
Enjoying these. I used drink coffee before the doctor took it away. Now I try to drink more tea. It doesn't do the same thing, so I just need more stiff taps from the keisaku.
Thanks for helping with the development of Olsonomics.
