Tiger Fades

as year of the tiger fades
the tired monk
reflects, restates, remolds
his sacred vows

...in this case: be the tiger

  1. Ha, this speaks to me, as the tiger really had his claws into me in 2010 and hasnt quite finished with me yet:) I love your poems, Ollie. So simple, so real and so perfect. You have a wonderful reflective style and say so much in so few lines. A trait I would do well to emulate:)I hope the rabbit is kinder to us this year.

  7. Ollie this is a fine reflective piece. I believe we are now in the year of the metal rabbit. Is that correct?
