monk's tools

chip off the lingering rust
grind it
down
to a sharp sheen

refit the new sanded handle
in good n'tight

can't fix anything
with broken tools

  2. My husband is meticulous with his tools especially his knives, he makes furniture and carves as his side hobbies. This is a wonderful poem!

  4. I have too many tools that need fixing. Sometimes that's the problem with life ;)

  5. I like the conservation of words and the images you use which all fit the poem's theme of efficiency and grit.
