be careful with that vibrato, don't wanna break that string. And even if you do , remember you can always get a new set of strings( i like slinkys myself ) that sound fresher
It is hard to give life and faith to words, if there is an emptiness at heart. The notes and the chords, seems to sense the discord involved.. Happier days as summer arrives, Eileen
All the technical moves can not fill the emptiness of the missing point. A new way to make this point, with the play on a song title--and maybe a missing love as well.
the last lines reveal the truth, without emotions nothing matters
ReplyDeleteMaybe that's why the guitar is broken..a song needs a 'you' to be played to
ReplyDeleteSad if the one the song is sung for is gone. A song such as this needs a recipient who is present.
ReplyDeleteButterfly vibratos.. this sounds so exciting.. but you need that special other to make it complete.
ReplyDeleteWithout the inspiration, what is a song but words and notes? Nice emotional pull in this Ollie.

ReplyDeletewas it lyric-less of no melody at all. poignant piece of poetry
ReplyDeleteA song without a special 'you' is the saddest lament.
ReplyDeleteSomeone to sing to is important.
ReplyDeleteMy D sting is tuned perfecting when I hear the gear snap "erck"... I enjoyed this piece smiling.
