the tired monk swings his axe

wood truck dumped
tumble tossed over
by the garage

cinch robes - roll sleeves

axe swings

            crack

sings out by the living forest
frozen splinters fly
dog sleeps nearby

gloves harden
full frozen of axe handle sweat

young monk appears
a gift
tea

  1. I love it. A story in a few lines. Lovely.

  2. Nice OO. Sounds like tough monastic duties. Maybe some sake before bed.

  3. doing wood is great if you don't have to do it yourself. something about a chat while stacking makes it go better and a good cup of something is always grand.

    nice bit Ollie.

Composite picture created in few words -their sparseness makes it more vivid.
