on demons

demons linger
outer edges of parks
deep in the woods
right on the crossroads
or under basement stairs
 waiting
for generations
if needed

once they're forgotten
they'll  slither out
ready
with their
ancient dusty tricks

the problem
with demons
is that they
don't get bored

  2. I am thinking of one in particular who slithered out from under a rock to spew his venom. Sigh.

  4. I think they will only get bored if we ignore them... alas they grow strong from fear.

Very true Brother Ollie! They rejoice in seeing destruction and sufferings that afflict others. Never realizing Karma may work against them later!
