one day

one day I'll ask my body to move
   and it won't

my mind will still move
out over the lakes, marshes, tall pine trees
up north through the rugged valley
up the highest peak
to a most vivid view
of the last dayspring moment

  2. There's a lot to love about this wee piece. It's honest but with such a gloriously expansive view.

  3. As long as our minds can move, we are home free … to explore as we will. Love your message! Cheers.

  6. Precious poem! Aging, as they say, is not for the faint of heart. The body does what it will, no matter how well we care for it. May our minds, all of them, carry us where we will.
