  2. I like the tactile feel of this; how you've focused on the roughness of the surface.

  7. It was a special treat to walk across this lovely old paved street last Saturday. You captured my feelings here quite nicely.

  8. How right you are! So few of these streets left, and yet I can still hear the sound of vibrating tires on the bricks of my childhood!

    this poem opened my memory....

  9. I want to write like this. Your use of simple words is like painting a masterpiece with only primary colors; you do it with such a flair.

  10. This is particularly beautiful to me because I'm a touchy. I'll run my hands on every surface I can, and when I can't, I'll let them hover about things trying to feel the energy around them. Friends tell me I'm crazy and most of them refuse to go to art galleries and museums with me. =´(

    Beautiful work, dear. =*

  13. Excellent description Olie. Keep 'em coming. Like the Tired Monk. Feel like I know him.

  14. My father used to work in downtown Detroit, and when I was small, I always thought the brick streets that remained were interesting. This reminded me of that.

  15. To the craftsmen of olden days... still too does their handiwork show.
