When you've got so much to say it's called gratitudeAnd that's right...
gratitude
collected compiled
in a new leather journal
pondered
before one drifts to sleep
thinking back
over precious moments
a smile
a laugh
a minute of peace,
quiet solitude
or
spotted and appreciated
right in real time
constant
consistent
beautiful
gratitude
and that's right
Ollie, when I saw your link, I smiled. I know monks know a great deal about gratitude. Even - or especially - tired monks. As I grow increasingly aged, my gratitude increases by leaps and bounds. So very much to be grateful for. Thank you for linking your beautiful poem!
ReplyDeleteHi Ollie! I liked the idea of gratitude collected and compiled in a leather journal before one sleeps! Yes, that is a good time to ponder gratitude and also a good way to keep track of those special moments.
ReplyDeleteA new journal is off to a good start with positive thoughts!
ReplyDeleteGratitude is the best!
ReplyDeleteWe need to ponder all our blessings - big and small (especially the small). I think we forget how many small blessings happen throughout the day and often get overlooked. Yes, to compile and collect.
ReplyDeletegratitude
ReplyDeletecollected compiled
in a new leather journal Love that! I need a journal like that as well
I also believe that we should always be grateful for the precious moments gifted to us.
ReplyDeleteA prayer with a rhythm to sing.
ReplyDeleteScoop it up, gratitude needs now, needs to be told.
ReplyDeleteGood job, Olie
..
Ollie, so nice to read you again. That image of the brand new journal really delighted me. Nothing like those unmarked, thirsty pages.
ReplyDeleteGratitude in real time 'now' is surely the best. :-) ♥
ReplyDeleteGratitude that inspires more gratitude is the best, indeed!
