I love slice-of-life poetry like this --- poems that capture a moment, whether simple or intense. It goes to show that a poem can be about anything. It's the sound and rhythm, like: "steaming sandalwood suds razor slicks" and "braced by a generous splash." These descriptions are aurally pleasing to read.
Yikes, your head will be chilly with winter temperatures, Ollie. I love your poems - glimpses into the tired monk's serene life.
